But ultimately the key to preventing human impact fromdisaster events is to limit risk, and therefore the potential for loss. Thisprocess of controlling risk is disaster management. This course is tailoredtoward healthcare professionals wishing to increase their skills andparticipation in disaster mitigation, planning, response, and recovery.
