Overview:
Faculty physicians require special skills in teaching, guiding, and evaluating their students and learners. International physicians require special understanding of differing health systems, unusual diseases, and foreign cultures and languages. International faculty physicians must be prepared to overcome all these challenges together. This course will introduce and equip Chinese physicians for esteemed careers as international medical faculty.
Timeframes:
This Professional Certificate Course includes 8 weeks of structured learning and assignments due each Sunday night. Each week includes a required virtual class with the faculty for discussions, simulations, case studies and final exams. This weekly required virtual class may last up to 120 minutes. At the end of the course will be two days of in-classroom instruction and final examination.
Academic Credit:
Completion of this course requirements earns two credit hours of graduate academic credit and thirty-two hours of Continuing Medical Education.
Admissions Requirements:
Medical school graduates with valid license to practice medicine are welcome to register. These should have basic English language skills.

Upon completion of the course requirements and activities, participants will be recognized with the INMED Professional Certificate in International Faculty Development and Basic Life Support Certification.
Humanitarian Health Conference Invitation
Graduates of the INMED Professional Certificate in International Faculty Development will receive an invitation to participate in the 2022 Humanitarian Health Conference. This conference will be held on June 10–11 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. The conference registration is free for graduates, and an official letter of invitation will be issued. Travel expenses will be at the responsibility of each person.
